First class care throughout. More comfortable chairs would have helped as some people who appeared very unwell trying to sit in chairs with no arms especially in area called rafting.
I was asked to go to the hospital after speaking to 111. I was in the hospital for over 5 hours waiting to be seen and for blood results. After this wait, a doctor referred me to see a surgeon but I wasn't sure why. I saw multiple doctors/nurses whilst at the hospital and each time they asked me what my symptoms were, do they not get recorded so I don't have to repeat myself multiple times? After being referred, I was told I might have to wait a few more hours to be seen. I just went home as I felt dreadful and needed to sleep. I have since had a private GP consultation who prescribed me antibiotics which have helped. Very poor service, communication and wait times.
The Doctors and nurses were fantastic. They explained fully what they thought had happened and what tests they were doing. All tests completed within an hour. Fantastic service.
Big shout out to all the staff especially Sarah & Lynsey
Terrible experience in Queens A & E on the behalf of my father who was left in a corridor for three days before a bed was found for him . He wasnt offered any food or drink and if he hadnt been assisted by a carer god only knows what would have happened to him. He was in hospital for 6 days in all and in that time he caught Covid in the hospital, this is the 1st time he has had it. No organisation and no care or empathy was shown at anytime.
Was not treated well by health care assistants because I kept needing to go to the toilet a lot ( bleeding from stomach) left on commode for ages . Spoken to harshly by one particular male member of staff
Found staff very helpful at all time
Dr's didn't tell me to stop a medication
Wasn't told about test results
Each Dr I saw had a different opinion
I was treated with respect, care and professionalism
Appointment on time, polite knowledgeable and explain the diagnosis and the future treatment in plain speaking
